Your language π₯
Let’s dive into this together. Let this be an empowering learning experience and maybe eye openingπ (I hope).
When it comes to selling/marketing your programs, you shouldn’t be tearing “down” strategies to get clients into your programs.
You should be EMPOWERING your customer to look at DIFFERENT perspectives outside of what they are currently doing.
It’s a slight change in terminology and called Belief Shifting Content.
Now, obviously, there’s instances where your audience could use some tough love. But show them WHY + HOW they need the tough love without making them feel like shit. EMPOWER them.
Here’s some slight terminology changes to use ππ»
π“Hey, I know you have probably been doing (insert what they are doing) and after some conversations with you all, it may not work for some of you. Have you tried this instead? Here’s how you can do it…”
π“Do you feel (insert feeling)? Have you tried incorporating (insert tactic) to see how that goes? Here’s what my client did that helped her…”
π “Have you incorporate (insert tactic) a few times and maybe you aren’t enjoying it… here’s 3 other ways to accomplish (insert goal) & here’s how my program can help you identify (insert tactic, goal, strategy)
If you’re going to tell someone what they SHOULD & SHOULDN’T do. You need to re-evaluate and keep other interests in mind & reflect on your terminology.
It’s like you telling your audience they shouldn’t have a course. But why? What if you have a ICA that is a Mom of 4 and cant do as much live coaching?
Or you telling your audience they can only lose weight a certain way. But why? What if they have health concerns or is allergic?
Keep other perspectives and interests in mind when pitching and selling your program. π£Hear out your audience while still targeting your specific customer.
Hopefully this helped.
